With the exhibition “Una lunga storia”, the municipality of Kißlegg honoured the life’s work of Klaus Prior. The retrospective brought together significant works from private and public collections as well as new creations, offering a powerful insight into how consistently Prior’s artistic practice has revolved around the theme of humanity for decades.
The artist’s close connection to Kißlegg, where he maintained a studio for many years, gave the exhibition a particularly personal dimension. Accompanying the exhibition, a documentary film about Klaus Prior was created, offering insights into his life, his working process, and the retrospective.
